GuineaPigAnswers.net was created by Kate Myers, a life long guinea pig enthusiast and author. Being a guinea pig owner Kate understands the issues which a new owner or seasoned veteran may have when it comes to raising and caring for these amazing little creatures.
Kate created GuineaPigAnswers.net in order to assist owners & potential owners alike with any question they may have about guinea pigs, raising them and caring for them. You will find answers to all your questions here, from the simple queries through to more complex issues.
There are articles on GuineaPigAnswer.net on a number of different topics from Guinea Pig Health to Dieting. More articles will be added to the site over time, plus existing articles will be updated as necessary.
One of the main goals Kate’ main goals with GuineaPigAnswers.net is to provide the most detailed, update, relevant information which will assist you in providing the best care to your pet and little friend(s).

Kate’s book is more a detailed guide into raising and caring for one or more guinea pigs, she will walk you step by step through all important areas of guinea pig care from selection, setting up a natural, health environment and cage, knowing what foods your cavy can and cannot eat, identifying common health issues and how to spot symptoms early, through to grooming, handling and breeding.
